The Kansas City Food Hub is a growing farmer-owned, farmer-run cooperative of over twenty small and medium-sized family and non-profit farms aggregating produce, protein, and value-added goods to meet the demands of Kansas City’s local food market.  Collectively, our farmers grow on over 300 acres, have 275 years of experience, and operate over thirty-five high tunnels and greenhouses for four season production. The Kansas City Food Hub improves the economic viability of sustainable local agriculture by coordinating year-round production, supporting emerging growers, and by bringing farmers and buyers together.

In 2020, we started selling directly to consumers through our Farm Share program. In response to customer feedback, the Food Hub is expanding into the retail market in 2022. We are looking for a hard-working Sales and Marketing Manager to deliver scalable and repeatable sales strategies for the Kansas City Food Hub in the retail market. This new role focuses on marketing, customer acquisition and sales support. As a key member of the team, you’ll be responsible for growing our sales pipeline and revenue. Priority will be given to candidates who submit applications before January 16, 2022.

You value creativity, curiosity, are committed to solving problems as a team. You’re passionate about creating a positive impact, and are motivated to join a small, incredibly productive team to do extraordinary things!

You are a team player who can also be effective when left to your solo tasks.  You can manage your day to day schedule with minimal guidance, but know when to ask for it.  You understand that we are small but mighty company and sometimes we fill in for each other to ensure the essential day to day business gets done.
